He'd also been at the forefront of "pub rock" in the early '70s, booking acts like The Loved Ones and Max Merritt and the Meteors, and managing Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs. And then AC/DC swept all before them. Here is the only insider account of those amazing years by the man who helped guide AC/DC to the top. In the '80s Michael did it again, signing an up-and-coming band called INXS to his label Deluxe Records and setting them on the course to superstardom. About the Author
Michael Browning was running Melbourne's Hard Rock Cafe when he first encountered a struggling AC/DC in 1974. When he and the band parted ways five years later, they were on the brink of global domination. Prior to that, Michael managed such local stars as Billy Thorpe and Doug Parkinson.�After a stint in the USA in the early 1980s, Michael returned to Australia, where he launched Deluxe Records, in the process discovering and developing INXS, whom he signed to the label.

For 2015, it's mostly out-of-date

For 2015, it's mostly out-of-date as eBay has changed so many of its rules and regulations. From what I'm gathering, they change things so often that there's no point in trying to update the book or write a new one. I had assumed this would be the case when I ordered this book, but it's well written and probably gave sellers lots of very useful info when it was published.

Good read for becoming an eBay powerseller

This is a great read to maximize selling on eBay. It is packed full of useful tips on listing items.
It can be a little tedious at times to read through but overall it was a good tool when I was trying to become a power seller. This book is worth picking up.

The ultimate training manual for eBay and beyond!

If you were to look at my eBay About Me page, User ID Harley glasses, you'd see I have read many eBay-related books. This book tops my list for many reasons. The authors, Brad and Deb Schepp, don't pretend to have come up with the information in their book all by themselves. Instead, they start by thanking all of the many, many Powersellers and other professionals who contributed to the book. Many are among the top 100 sellers on eBay and members of PeSA, the Professional eBay Sellers Alliance, or the Internet Merchants Association. Brad and Deb have all the right connections :-)

This book is great for beginners all the way up to advanced sellers. As the 2nd edition, it's been revised, and is the most current and up-to-date eBay book on the market. Here are some reasons why I'm such a fan:

�It's packed with information you can put to use immediately. The tips and secrets from experienced sellers are very real, and obviously work in their day-to-day operations. Sit down with the book and have a pad of post-it-notes handy because you are going to want to bookmark lots of sections to revisit.

�Each chapter profiles a Powerseller with a successful eBay businesses, which is very motivating.

�The format of the book is unique, in that each secret is clearly marked. You get the good and the bad points about eBay selling.

�The writing is entertaining and easy to read. The authors are effective and concise, no fluff in this book at all. It's hard to put down!

Brad and Deb's book encouraged me to create my own About Me page and helped me develop procedures that I use today. (Now I not only sell on eBay, but I have my own website as well.) They are solid, no bull writers who practice what they preach. I'm sure if they wanted to, with all the information they have gathered, they could be one of the top ten sellers on eBay. But you can definitely tell when reading their books that their passion is writing about eBay and technology.

I've read some questionable eBay books and can honestly say this is the best one out there. That's why it's #1 on the book list on my About Me page. Now that we have employees, this book has become our company training manual--it's the ultimate training reference for eBay and beyond.

Monique Doran, born in Kingston Jamaica, September 16th 1985, migrated to the United States in the late 90’s after overcoming battles of child abuse. Always having a passion for writing, after graduating St John’s University 2012, decided to become a published author in 2016, publishing her first book, ‘Daddy, don’t touch me there.’ One woman’s story of survival. She is passionate about helping broken people; particularly children, find their voices once more. She an avid nature lover, and enjoys the simple things in life.

Enjoyed the book and I will definitely used your story as an important tool to enlighten others who have been abused or are being abused that the guilt trip that the abuser sends them on is never worth it and that they should always speak out.

I knew we became friends for a reason because I was U and u were me!

We had been friends since we were 15, tho we lost touch with each other we would still hail each other in passing whenever we saw each other. Little did I know we shared the same story, except ur perpetrator was ur dad but mine was my uncle my aunt's husband. I read ur book and cried like a baby when I remember what had happened to me and heard my aunt utter the same words ur mother did, "sweep in under the rug and not tell anyone else as if it never happened". I never wrote a book or spoke too much about it but I glad U did. If u ever need assistance with ur project in Jamaica I'm here. Thanks again for sharing ur story because it will help at least one little Monique out there somewhere looking for her Ray of Hope.
