I am a Hebrew Isara'elite, and we had been studying from The Complete Jewish Bible, which was close to the actual customs of Yahusha. Then i started reading The Besorah and i found out it had the true pronunciation of Yahuah and Yahusha and Ruach's name. Some things weren't clear but i understand that it's Paleo-Hebrew, so you have to do the comparisons. I'm satisfied and so are the others whom i purchased books for. I would be more than happy to reccommend the book to others.

A Revised Besorah

This version of the Besorah of Yahusha is a newer version.
I think the Tanakh is better in this version than the older one. While there are no footnotes, there are parenthetic clarifications on some passages.

Two pluses with this version are the absence of both the Hebrew Gloss of I Samuel 6:19 and the Erasmus Addition of I John 5:8.

There is a 12 page Introduction and Table of Contents in the front and the back has a chart of letters, a glossary, and editorial comment. I found these features to be helpful.
Every book has both the English and Hebrew name along with the Hebrew meaning of the name for each particular book.

The Paleo Hebrew letters and the names Yahuah and Yahusha are used as well as the Hebrew words for day, night, earth etc..
Hebrew names for people and places are used throughout the book.

The order of the Natsarim Writings (New Testament for Christians) is different than any other version I have seen to date.
It takes some getting used to that order but I understand Mr. White's reasoning.

In my personal opinion Mr. White did a very good job with this version and I enjoy reading it.

The BEST Scripture Version on the market.

I love this version of the Scriptures because it is the closest to the original Hebrew. The Creator's Name, and the Name of our Savior are also in their original Paleo Hebrew form. (In English they are Yahuah and Yahusha) The Besorah of Yahusha Natsarim Version is much easier to understand so reading it is a delight, because I can now comprehend much better than I could with the KJV. In my humble opinion, The Besorah of Yahusha Natsarim Version is the best Scripture version on the market.

A MUST FOR PURCHASERS OF ANCIENT COINS

For a long time there was considerable confusion about the authenticity of ancient coins. While considerable quantities have been found in the former ancient sites, and they have been collected since ancient times, few works were available to help the collector distinguish between the actual ancient works and fakes and copies made after. Works that are available are hard to find, usually specific to one forger and quite costly. I can safely say that this book clearly outlines the things to look for, from the commonest tourist cast copy to the advanced techniques used to fool the more advanced collectors.
If you want to collect coins you should include this book as one of your first buys because it can save you many times its cost with the purchase of just one coin that is not right. This is especially true if you are buying on the internet from sometimes unreliable impersonal sources.
The format is great with a show and tell approach, easy to use, and references to other works on specialized areas of counterfeiting.
While it shows and concentrates on mostly ancient coins the information is valid for all copies. There are great plates of the fakes the average modern collector is apt to encounter now on the market. This book will help you acquire the basic knowledge necessary in collecting coins just as in any other facet of collecting antiques or art.

Good book but maybe not what you expect.

I enjoy reading Mr.Salyes' books and this one is no exception. He easily one of the best current numismatic authors. This work does a great job of covering the types of counterfeits along with their history and an overview of how they are created. It is a very good book for anyone beginning to collect ancient coins. One thing the book is not is a catalog of counterfeits nor a guide on how to detect counterfeits. These subjects are beyond the scope of any general work and are dealt with by various numismatic associations and their publications. So if you are only looking for a manual or catalog move on.

A Must Read for Beginners or old collectors.

This book is a must read for those starting out in collecting coins, either ancient or modern. It explains the differences in the original minting of coins, and the "modern" reproductions, fakes and forgeries, even ancient forgeries. It is easy reading, and will give a good basis for coin collecting. It is worth the short time it takes to read, and it may save you from some embarassment.

eye movement integration - better than Emdr

This is the first book on this subject and represents a timely re-write translation form the original French. Eye Movement Integration therapy, is a new "neuro-therapeutic" approach to the treatment of intrusive memories, phobias, post-traumatic-stress-disorder etc. Although it has obvious overlaps with EMDR, Beaulieu seeks to identify EMI as a separate discipline. There are, indeed, a few subtle but important differences. EMI uses the longer smooth-pursuit eye movements and encourages conscious connection with the `toxic' psychic material. Perhaps most tellingly the eye-movements themselves have been found to be a necessary component for success in EMI whereas studies with EMDR have found them to be sufficient.

Beaulieu begins by laying down the paradigm within which we can conceptualise the action of EMI, how indications actually manifest at the cognitive level and accordingly what we can expect, or aspire to, in the form of treatment.

Chapter three comprises an exhaustive and extremely convincing case for the efficacy and aetiology behind EMI therapy, at the cognitive, affective and neurological levels. It is already beyond doubt that eye-movement anomalies are correlated with the majority of psychological disorders, to the point that these anomalies can be used as part of the diagnostic procedure itself. The conviction that this is, to some degree, a two-way street (and this seems to be the case) is all that is needed then to justify the science behind the practice.

The general idea is that various portions of the visual field will access different modalities with regard to the memory. A systematic journey through all the areas with periodic verbal feedback whilst remaining connected to the memory will help to integrate the memory thereby combining various fragmented sensations into a multi-modal "Gestalt". It's very specialised anchor-collapsing.

The rest of the book is devoted to clinical practice. The care and precision given to chapters dealing with assessing and preparing the client is comprehensively lengthy, but obviously useful.

After completing 70 percent of the book we are finally introduced to the eye-movements themselves. Here is a facet of the book I found perplexing, despite it's highly academic style and seemingly comprehensive nature, I had the impression that just around the next corner I would be let in on the secrets that would finally bring together all I had learnt so far. I believe a few more pages of general introduction as to the nature of the actual techniques themselves are needed towards the beginning of the book. My advice to you would be to read Chapter 7 Eye Movement Integration first then read the whole book through from the start.

A transcript of a sample session, and an index will be worthy additions to the next edition. This aside I believe I will find this work very useful in my own practice. Beaulieu insists that this is a reference work and not a manual for practising, apparently it's no substitute for an actual training course. I like to think of this insistence as some sort of nudge-wink legal disclaimer.

Disapointed

I have been reading a lot of NLP, and as a practitioner always looking for new ways of helping my clients, I decided in looking into EMI. This book is for me frustrating as it tells a lot and says nothing. Not until chapter 7 seven you start finding something not always useful. But always boring and not clear enough. Waste of times and resources, hope the next book of this author could be easy grabbing and practical.

If you are interested in the aspects of making your therapy work with NLP more effective, go no further. While this is still relatively unknown material I cannot rate it high enough. The information of pain associations with memory and how to detect them alone is worth the price of the book.

The recipes from this book "call out" to you....

I loved this book. The pictures are enticing, and the detailed instructions will enable even the most inept baker to produce beautiful and tasty loaves of bread, fromt he very plain to the very festive. It gave me the courage to try making Sourdough from scratch, including the starter. I've been making sourdough every 2-3 days ever since! I would like to caution novice bread bakers that the cooking temps for most of the breads are 425 to 475 degrees, and I was not able to do that in my over or the loaves would burn on the bottom. I baked mine at the traditonal 350 degrees for a longer cooking time and they came out great!

A READER correction.

"Page 144 the "Pain D' Epice" French Honey Spice Bread, 1 loaf. Calls for 1 1/2 cups honey, 1 1/3 cups milk, 2 eggs, spices AND 1/2 cup of flour."

Actually, page 144 calls for 3/4 cup plus two table spoons of whole-wheat flour AND 3/4 cup plus two tablespoons of rye flour.

I have baked this twice and it always comes out perfect.

turn on the oven, is baking time!

This is an amazing book. It is so complete and detailed.
My previous experiences in bread baking were with betty crocker. I liked the recipes but I wanted to go a step further. With so many books about baking bread, it was a hard choice but I decided on this one because I saw that it was filled with pictures. I'm so glad that I chose this 'cause it is indeed a great book. The recipes are incredible and the techniques also.
The book starts with a "gallery of breads", beautiful pictures of french, english, italian, european and middle eastern breads.
Then it shows different types of flours (with more pictures), then the techniques step by step on how to prepare the yeast, how to make a starter, mixing, kneading, shaping and baking. Photos of different kinds of glazing and toppings follow this chapter. Then the recipes. I think I've tried every recipe that is in this book. Not one of them turned out bad. They were espectacular. Outside and inside.
I cannot recommend this book enough.

How to Act Like a Grown-up

I read this book last night and loved it. I laughed out loud several times, and constantly thought..."Finally someone is saying this to people." If only all of society would read this book and heed its words.
My favorite chapters were about crossing the street (how many times have I waited in a line of traffic while someone strolls across the street as if they were taking a leisurely country walk!) and watching movies (loved the reference to removing crinkle paper from candy.)
Also the reference to good attendance in the chapter about college made me laugh out loud since recently a young man said the same thing to me as if it was a major ah-ha moment.... When asked about his college experience, he said he discovered the trick to doing well...and that was to attend class and take notes! And he was serious. So this book is right-on.
I plan to share this book with our two grandsons (15 and 16 years old) who are both beginning drivers. I am going to emphasize the chapter on driving, which is jammed with practical advice and insight.

A wonderful collection..

Well, you did it and you did it VERY WELL!!!!! I sat down last night and read your book cover to cover and I kept thinking this is a great source for having so much "common sense" in one place for the young. I see every day how the young think, or don't think really, and how they have no common sense yet feel like they "already know everything" there is in life. I enjoyed it very much and I actually have one person in mind that I would like to pass this book along to, so thank you for sharing and for writing it!

How to Act Like a Grown-up

How to Act Like a Grown-up was written by a dear friend of mine. He is an Associate Pastor, a teacher, and a parent who with his wife Diane have raised three of the most talented/friendly/caring children I've had the opportunity to meet. They are now all grown up, and are each married and on their way in life. Their dad is a good guy and their mom is amazing at everything she does. It didn't just happen spontaneously, there was a lot of thought,work, and prayer that went into how these kids turned out.
Fortunately, for us, Pastor Mark has invested time in creating this book that helps to fill in the gaps that might need to be addressed in a lot of my generation. It doesn't come across as "preachy", if you know what I mean. No finger wagging here. Just useful information.
He has been diligent over the years in raising his children thoughtfully, and is one of the most "present" people I know. These are not vague concepts, but important stuff that we all have to deal with at some point. It is easily read in one sitting on a quiet day.
Buy it, read it, and pass it on. You'll be glad you did.

At first glance I was highly disappointed as there was nothing new about this book

At first glance I was highly disappointed as there was nothing new about this book. A rather boring rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas there were the usual two singing santas, etc.

Then I stared looking at the cute and wonderful illustrations by AG Ford. The illustrations are the reason I gave the book three stars as they made the book somewhat enjoyable and more lively.

I was given this book by Scholastic in exchange for my honest review. Just wish it could have been better.

Twelve Days of Christmas

Won this book from goodreads. I was surprised to see that the author was Nick Cannon. It had the most amazing cover and illustrations by AG Ford. The children were exact replicas of Nick's children. I would love to have heard this story as a song could imagine a funky tune. I really enjoy Christmas. This was such a wonderful books for children.

Love unconditionally

Donna Fletcher did another good job in Renegade Love. I could not wait for the release of this book after reading Untamed Fire. Which by the way is another excellent book. This is one of my favourite new author and I have never been disappointed in her books yet. The way she showed how love can overcome any obstacle and Rosa never ending love and faith in Esteban is wonderful and I highly recommend the book, you won't regret the purchase

Loved both characters especially Rosa! Felt Esteban's pain and passion from the beginning and the end surprised me; expected typical but got incredible!
